With every second of every day, life speeds by us. The opportunity to capture a moment of that time and preserve it for others to experience is one of the things I love most about photography. The ability to creatively express that moment is what drives me to continue looking and learning. My interest in photography started with a science fair project of building a pin hole camera out of a cardboard box. My father was a photographer for the police department, he taught me how to developed the 4x5 negative for the project. In my early 20's I  built my own darkroom. I was shooting mostly black & white then, that I developed and printed  myself. I began shooting digital and studying Photoshop in 1996. At that time my interest moved to landscape and nature photography.
